Simpson Desert

The Simpson Desert is goes across the Northern Territory, South Australia and Queensland. It’s around 176 thousand square meters which makes it only the fourth largest desert in Australia. It also contains the world’s longest north to south sand dunes which range in height from three metres to thirty metres – the largest one being Big Red. There is always an adventure to be had in the desert, and Rock O’Brien certainly has some stories to tell about his travels!

Cape York

Cape York Peninsula, located in Far North Queensland, is the largest wilderness in northern Australia. If you’re taking on this epic adventure, you’re facing 1,200km of untamed, 180-million-year-old rugged rainforest, so you’ll want to be prepared! Hear from Matt and Holly (the Overland Travellers) who have recently returned from a trip to Cape York. Matt and Holly will show some of their photos and videos, and will talk about their experiences, as well as giving planning tips for taking on this adventure.

Western Australia’s Kimberley

An ancient landscape covering hundreds of thousands of square kilometres, the Kimberley is one of the world’s most precious wilderness regions and is a bucket-list destination for many. One of the most epic adventures in the Kimberley is barramundi fishing (while avoiding crocodiles!) and we are bringing the Barra King to the Show to teach you how to catch the metre barra! Sam Birch (Birchy’s Fishing Tours) will be joined by Mark LeCras (Offroad Angler/ the 4WD Adventure Show) plus guests, and they will be talking fishing, camping, and travelling in the magnificent Kimberley.

Shark Bay

Shark Bay has it all – remote 4WDriving, amazing views, awesome fishing and camping, and unique flora and fauna. It’s the largest bay in Australia and is the place where the desert meets the sea. With so much to discover in Shark Bay, it’s a must-do trip for any adventurer. Ronny Dahl will talk about everything you can do in the region, and everything you need to take, from roughing it or taking the family caravan.
